This model is equipped with easy spin-on unions for plumbing hook-ups. This filter is NSF listed for commercial applications. The Clean & Clear combines top end filter performance with low maintenance. The dependable design uses special filter elements to strip tiny particles from your pool water as small as 30 microns, an average grain of beach sand is 1000 microns! Cleaning is a snap, simply open the top cover, remove the cartridge, hose it off, reinstall, now you are ready to go again. The cartridge surface consistency has been maximized to block and trap solids. The most durable materials have been used to extend the cartridge life. The base and tank are constructed of a single piece fiberglass reinforced polypropylene for strength and chemical resistance. A high flow manual air relief valve and continuous internal air relief work together to maintain optimum filtration efficiency at all times.
